03-21-2014 - (Denver, CO)

In keeping with Adaptive Spirit's continued mission to present unique and valuable networking opportunities, along with a chance to share industry knowledge with some of today's top business minds, the organization proudly announces the opening panel for this year’s event, presented by JANRAIN.   “Monetizing Engagement - Effective Strategies To Generate Revenue From Content Marketing and The Second Screen” kicks off on Thursday, April 3 at 4:30 p.m. in the Cascade Ballroom at the Vail Cascade Resort in Vail, CO.

The panel will not only delve into best practices for enlisting social media, but will also dig deeper into different metrics and key statics.  For example, among U.S. TV viewers, 40% use a second screen when they watch TV, 72% are more likely to watch a show after engaging with it on social media and 51% of viewers use social networks to connect with others while watching the same show.  How do these experts use social media to engage and retain customers?  How can they help you do the same?

Moderated again this year by Michael Grebb, Executive Editor, CableFAX Group, the panel will feature Larry Drebes, CEO/CTO - JANRAIN, Rich DiGeronimo, SVP Product & Strategy - Charter Communications, John Dixon, VP Interactive Media - Comcast, Adam Naide, Executive Director Social Media Marketing - Cox Communications and Tania Yuki, CEO - Shareablee.

Also, building on last year's overwhelming success, Adaptive Spirit is bringing back the "Brain Trust Breakfast" sponsored this year by PM Publicidad.  This informal event takes place on Friday morning, April 4, and offers attendees the chance to share breakfast and discuss business tactics and competitive ideas with some of the best minds in our industry.

This year, the event features John Egan, Chairman of Evolution Digital and a 35 year veteran in the cable business and is the former founder and CEO of ARRIS, John Schanz, Executive Vice President and Chief Network Officer, Comcast Cable, Anne Carlsen, the Founder and CEO of Carlsen Resources, Inc., a premier provider of executive search and consulting services in cable, media, entertainment and technology, Luis Caballero, Executive Director of Hispanic Marketing, Cox Communications, and Marty Cooper, renowned, wireless pioneer and visionary who led a team at Motorola to create the first hand held mobile phone.

Seats at this year's breakfast will definitely fill up quickly!  Attendees have the opportunity to choose their table upon picking up their packets at registration.
