Ravi began mono-skiing with Oregon Adaptive Sports at Hoodoo Ski Area in January 2009. Ravi lost both of his legs above the knee after being hit by a train in December 2004 and miraculously survived. Ravi was invited to compete in the Winter X Games in Aspen, Colorado in January 2011 and had an amazing performance. He then went on to win first place at the Para-snowboarding World Cup in Lake Louise, Canada.
