Vail Resorts’ and Adaptive Spirit's commitment to safety continues and our goal is to keep all guests safe. Here are the key details of the Vail winter operating plan. Details are subject to changing local public health guidelines and changing dynamics surrounding COVID-19.

Mountain Access: There will NOT be a mountain reservation system this season.

Face Coverings: Face coverings will be required in indoor settings including in restaurants (except when eating), lodging properties, restrooms, retail and rental locations and on buses. Face coverings will not be required outdoors.

Dining:

Mid Vail lunch on Friday: Vaccinations are required in all indoor restaurants. For guests 12 and over, you will be required to show proof of vaccination to enter. Guests can show a vaccination card, photo of a vaccination card on their phone or an authorized vaccination verification mobile app. Guests 18 and over will also need to show a government issued photo ID or an Epic Pass. This added precaution at large-scale, high-volume dining facilities will help keep everyone safe.

If you wish to dine at any other on-mountain restaurant, you will need a reservation. You can book them 24 hours in advance on the resort’s dining webpage, EpicMix App or through QR codes at the resort.

Ski School: The proof of vaccination requirement includes guests ages 12 and older in ski school programs that include lunch.
